1. Goal
This project was a software-hardware combo dubbed the "kiosk". The main function of the kiosk is to provide access to online resources and printers. In a kiosk, there is a keyboard, 3G modem, USB connector, and laser printer.
2. Solution
Information kiosk system is developed on the Java SE platform for use on personal computers running Linux Ubuntu. Integrating with microcontroller bill acceptor which is a third-party library (adapter). The server side of the system that allows kiosk management was implemented using PHP framework Codeigniter 1.6.
